He’s a lean, young adult black male cat with green eyes. He has thin patches of hair around his eyebrow area where his vanilla skin shows from underneath. He may be wearing a thin royal blue collar. He’s very menacing with high energy, but still so lovable and charming.

Missing Cat – Please Help Me Find Wander 💔 He is still missing Hi everyone. I’m posting this with a really heavy heart. Our cat “Wander” got out sometime between Thursday night 3/5/26 and Friday morning 3/6/26 while it was raining and hasn’t come back . My daughter rescued him about 6 months ago when he was just a tiny baby, when he wandered up to her on a freeway on ramp. He means absolutely everything to us. Wander is more than just a cat to us — he’s family, he’s our comfort and our little best friend shadow. We’re really worried because he’s never been outside on his own before, and with the weather last night I can’t stop thinking about him being cold and scared somewhere. If you live nearby, please check under porches, grges, sheds, bushes, or anywhere a scared cat might hide. Sometimes they stay very quiet when they’re frightened. If you see him or even think you might have seen him, please call or message me right away. Even the smallest lead could help bring him . Please share this so more people can keep an eye out. Put tuna or sardines and shoes with your scent on the porch or backyard right away also go out late at night and call quietly and shake a bag of treats. Fingers crossed. Probably close by and scared Make sure to report missing to area shelters. Post flyers all around the neighborhood. Ask neighbors to check their yards, garages, sheds under decks and bushes. Prayers 🙏 you find your cat

Walk around calling your cat as you always do. Look under bushes and in hiding places. Look at dawn and dusk with a flashlight to catch the glare of your cat's eyes. Leave garage door and lanai partially open if possible. Your cat will try to get back inside ..most likely at night. Use a trap...The only way to find his way home.or to the trap is by smell. Use some of your used clothes, put them outside and around the trap. A friend of mine used her shirt and dragged it through the neighborhood. Her cat found the smell and followed it home. It is all about the smell. You can also cut a shirt of yours into small small pieces and leave a scent trail back to the trap. I read a few days ago that a lady put out a trace with the old litter throughout the neighborhood. It worked. Her cat came home! Use the litter to lead your cat to the trap. Also try to distribute flyers throughout that neighborhood...as many as you can ( 3 miles radius at least). Check shelters in person...don't just call. Put battery operated trail cameras outside. Your cat might show up in the middle of the night. When you know the time you can wait for for your cat and slow blink to make contact. NEVER GIVE UP! I read once that you can put a chair outside and cover it up with a blanket and the cat can jump up and hide under the blanket and feels safe. They said you should put one of your shirts under the blanket and food and water next to the chair. It might be worth a try to put up a chair

Check all rescues, shelters, humane society & animal control IN PERSON! Posters everywhere and in front of home; let neighbors know & ask for help! 🙏

All the above advice + Make sure you go to the shelters, animal control, humane societies & every rescue you can think of in person and check for your dog or cat as often as you can. Don’t rely on just calling to check for them. The shelters are understaffed and overwhelmed right now, they may not recognize your dog or cat from al description over the phone. And, put up flers & post on love of louie, next door, etc., etc
