Been seeing sassafras since around December. Took her to the vet to be scanned for a chip a couple months ago, had her name listed and no contact info. She visits my hse frequently. Saw a 7 year old post on Facebook about her being stolen and reunited shortly after. No contact info for that owner. Trying to find the owner. Previous owners ad said she was around McClung and Hickman

Thank you for being her Hero, Bless you ❤️I would take her to YoungWilliamsAnimal Shelter for safety, owners will look there, Please be careful who tries to claim, make whoever show good proof of ownership, not pics they can be altered, There are Horrible Evil people out there looking for free Bait and Cult dogs, it’s a Horrible Death 😢They even send Teenagers and Wives to claim 😢Please be careful 🙏❤️

If able, try posting on the local Nextdoor app (if possible), lost .petcolove .org and watching craigslist. If you post to other groups, be sure to add the county, city and state to your posting since the posting may be shared nationally. Also, take flyers to shelters and vet offices with a photo and report the pet found. They have a board for both lost and found pets. Remember, not everyone is on Social Media. (Ask for proof of ownership by either vet records or a picture from the phone.)
