Look at night with a flashlight while calling his name. Look especially under bushes and in neighbors yards garages and sheds. Look up in trees, Leave something outside with his scent on it like his bedding. Leave something outside with your scent on it like an unwashed piece of clothing. Leave out smelly cat food. Hang signs with his photo. Call and visit local shelters and veterinary offices. Good luck!🍀

I asked Ai : Here is highly targeted advice for locating and securing a missing community cat: 1. Investigate "Double Feeding" & Neighbor Check-In Semi-feral neighborhood cats are notorious for having "second homes" or secondary feeders. • Knock on Doors: Have the owners ask immediate neighbors on LeMay Boulevard and Westland if they have recently started feeding a white cat with brindle markings, or if they've noticed him hanging around their yards. • Check Garages and Sheds: Ask neighbors to check their open garages, sheds, basements, or crawlspaces. It’s incredibly common for community cats to get accidentally locked inside outbuildings during hot weather or storms. 2. Set Up a Trail Camera If Tater is spooked, injured, or hiding, he may only visit his usual feeding station in the dead of night when everything is completely quiet. • Set up a motion-activated trail camera or a security camera focused directly on his primary feeding area. • This will confirm if he is still in the area and eating, even if he is actively avoiding human contact right now. 3. Keep Feeding Routines Exact • Keep food out at the exact same times and in the exact same spots as before. • Do not move the feeding station, as this can confuse him. • Avoid putting out a litter box. For an outdoor/semi-feral cat, this is unnecessary and will only attract predators or territorial rival cats to his safe space, driving him further away. 4. Prepare for Humane Trapping If the camera spots him but he refuses to come to his caregiver, humanely trapping him may be the only way to get him safely inside or to a vet. • Drop Traps are often much more successful for semi-feral cats than standard box traps, as they are less suspicious of them. • Use highly aromatic bait, like sardines in oil, mackerel, or warm pull-top canned cat food. 5. Contact Local Animal Control & Rescues Since he has been missing since July 9th, someone may have mistaken him for a stray and brought him in. • Contact West Hartford Animal Control and local shelters/rescues to file a report. • Ensure they have his description ("white with brindle markings") on file in case he is brought in for a microchip scan or medical care.

Flyers in neighborhoods walk neighborhoods day and evening check sheds garages wooded areas talk to neighbors check shelters. I had a cat got into a neighbors basement and was there for a week until the man open the door out came Shadow he remember seeing Shadow picture. I hope you fine your sweet kitty safe 💗
