Kali decided we belonged to her about 2 months ago. She never left our yard, and could be called to the door at any time, day or night. She was VERY skinny when she started staying with us, and she'd only just filled out enough to not look sickly. We found out from neighbours she had been abandoned by her owners when they moved quite a while ago, and at least two neighbours had been taking care of her on and off, helping her with two different litters of kittens. We immediately got her to the vet for a check up and vaccinations, along with scheduling her to be spayed next week. We got her a pink collar and let our neighbour know we are being responsible for her health and welfare. As an outdoor cat, she hasn't been used to being inside, but we got her to sleep in overnight a few times in the last week. She was inside for a visit around 2PM on Sunday, June 21, but we have not seen her since, which is very odd. Our other kitty, Angus, is really missing his companion. We are missing her constant presence, growly meow, and snuggling.
