Message from Owner

Our dog went missing from College Park today around 4:50 PM. She is a little girl, just over 3 years old, and very small. We are extremely worried about her. If someone has found her or is keeping her safe, please, please find a way to let us know that she is okay. We just want to know that she is safe. Thank you so much for your kindness and help. 🙏

🚨 LOST DOG – WHAT TO DO IMMEDIATELY TO HELP BRING YOUR DOG HOME 🚨 If your dog is missing, follow these critical steps right away: 🏠 Bring Them Home with Scent and Access • Hang dirty laundry (T-shirts, socks, shoes) high on a fence or branch to allow the wind to carry the scent - use items worn by the person your dog is most bonded with. • Dogs can smell home from miles away - your scent can guide them back. • Leave an access point open such as a cracked garage or front door in case they return. • Sleep near the front door if possible - your presence may help them feel safe enough to come back. • If you have other pets, keep them secured in a separate room. 📣 Post Signs & Notify Everyone • Make signs with a clear photo and your contact info. • Put signs everywhere - on poles, street corners, and especially on doorsteps in the neighborhood. • Ask neighbors to check security cameras (e.g., Ring) for sightings. 🌐 Spread the Word Online • Post on local: • Lost & Found Facebook groups • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring Neighbors app • Include your contact info, dog’s name, and location last seen. 🐶 Microchip & Shelter Alerts • If your dog is microchipped, notify the chip company immediately and mark your pet as lost. • Call ALL nearby animal shelters and rescues, and leave a detailed voicemail if no one answers. Follow up daily. ⚠️ Beware of Scams • Do NOT send money or provide any verification codes. • Scammers often pretend to have your pet and demand payment. • A real finder will be happy to help and won’t ask for money.

If you found Snowy or are keeping her safe, please, please contact me. My 9-year-old daughter is absolutely heartbroken. She was the one who accidentally lost Snowy, and she has been blaming herself nonstop. She has cried so much and is completely devastated. She is only 9 years old, and this has been incredibly hard for her to process. We are just praying that Snowy is safe and that someone will help bring her home. If you have Snowy and are willing to return her, we will be more than happy to offer a generous reward. Please help us share this post and spread the word. Any help means more than you know. 🙏
