Tara Hebert they don’t assist all animals in all situations. And this is exactly why she took the cat elsewhere first, because there are situations where they don’t. And when you are trying to save an animal from euthanasia and giving it a chance at life when it can be treated and saved then this is a huge factor!!!! The only shelter I stand by and absolutely love their medical care, pet care & morals is Chula Vista Animal Services.

Katie Miller surprised that you took to SDHS considering all the terrible things you say about them. Glad you now know that they indeed assist animals

Katie Miller the. Write that in your post instead of simply a photo of an injured cat with zero follow up .

Kim Cornelius I took to PESC so the cat wasn't bound by any policies on strays. I wanted to get the jaw injury assessed so we could guage whether or not Humane Society would take the cat in under the CCP. Exam revealed jaw was intact (degloving wound of the chin), so pain were administered and cat was brought in to HS later that morning, after they opened. Cat was treated and is recovering.

Tara Hebert I trapped the cat, scanned for chip, took to emergency vet for exam and pain , and brought to HS for surgery. Do more than make assumptions while advocating.
