Please add the cross street, thanks! I hope you have asked all your neighbors to check their garages, sheds, etc. in case your cat got closed inside one!? And that you have notified both Monterey PD and even Seaside PD/Animal Control (Alex), as well as SPCA… Check at the shelter daily as necessary! Key is to keep calmly calling and talking to your cat at all hours, especially the wee hours & looking for it, using a flashlight to help see its eyes…Check all around your house and under everything including greenery & especially in all dark places…Check high and low! Put some of your cat’s bedding as well as some of your clothing with your scent on it outside for your cat to smell, hopefully enticing it to head home! Try opening some smelly food like tuna (do not serve it in the can!) or some rotisserie chicken & shake a food/snacks bag often! If you can, leave a door or a window open enough for your cat to potentially let itself back inside! 🤞🏼
