Description
UPDATE 8/24/26: Blossom has been returning slowly for meal time, but we believe he may be getting fed elsehwere as well. He is staying around more before leaving. We're not sure where he is going overnight. If anyone recognizes him from a community feeding site near Oldbury Rd or Old Buckingham Rd or Old Buckingham Station Apts, please let us know. Tipped left ear. No collar. No microchip. 8/6/26: Our sweet, shy “big boy” was attacked by a coyote on our deck on 8/6. He fought back and escaped, but we don’t know what happened after he ran. May have gone toward Old Buckingham Station apts on the other side of the wooded area where he was last seen. Blossom is a previously feral/stray we adopted 3 years ago. He is socialized with us, but will hide from unfamiliar people. Large black and white tuxedo mixed breed, possibly Maine coon and/or HImalayan traits. Black body with white markings - stripe on nose, bowtie mouth, white chest, feet, and whiskers.
Blossom's Owner Says
Thank you to everyone who shared this post, offered support, or tips. The Big Boy finally returned home permanently. We are so happy to have him back. Unfortunately, one of our other trio, Koko, went missing about a week later after an undetermined incident on the same deck that the camera did not record. We have had no sightings of him at all and no luck finding community cat caretakers at Old Buckingham Station apmts where Koko likely would have gone to hide out if he were still alive.
