Husky was wandering the 7800 block of Clearwood Ave. I attempted to get near to check their collar for a tag, but it wouldn't come near. It ran down Knotty Pine toward S. Heather Glen

Babs Fry - Pet Recovery Specialist- Tips If You Find A Dog awayhomefordogs.com If you find a dog PLEASE...... Keep it secure indoors and get to the shelter of jurisdiction as soon as possible or they open. That is the ONE place EVERY owner that cares looks, while many are not on social media or assume the worst. The most important piece is what to do when you see a dog. HUNDREDS, if not more, dogs are currently at large, operating on flight and running in fear....... What you do or better yet DON'T do can help them navigate their way home or safety. It can take weeks or longer for some to be recovered. Please be part of the solution for them by not chasing them. Calling out, taking a photo/video, following by foot or car, etc..... are all CHASING to a frightened dog. ***If you encounter a loose dog, the general rule of thumb is stop and ignore the dog. ***If when you stop the dog stops —— you do nothing! ***Let the dog engage proactively with you then you have a good opportunity to see if it will come for treats, get on a leash, go for a ride or otherwise. ***If a dog moves away or is already moving, ignore it, maintain your direction of travel and speed, then report. ***Do nothing or you will change the direction the Dog may be traveling, you may become a bigger focus for the dog and potentially take its focus away from bigger dangers, and sometimes even inadvertently interfere with an active rescue effort based on a dog’s already predictable path of travel that changes based on being pursued. If you follow this protocol, you will have done nothing to change the Dogs established ability to keep itself safe nor will you cause the dog to do something that could cost its life.

I'm not sure. This was an hour ago and he ran to the street behind us. He hasn't been back to the cul de sac on Clearwood.
