I see it has been several days now since he went missing. Indoor cats hide in one place for days but he is probably moving around now & may be spotted. Have you canvassed your area with flyers in case someone sees him or has him? Also consider a few large neon flyers on poles to alert people of needing sightings. Get a doubled sided neon yard sign up in your yard. Once you know where he is lurking you can set up a monitored humane box trap. Include CALL IF SEEN or NEED SIGHTINGS on all advertising. Searching on foot also puts your scent down to help bring him back. Use as many methods of mass advertising that you can in addition to posts online.

This cat was solo, and I saw it again this morning! I didn't have my phone with me so I didn't get a picture. The cat was cleaning itself in the sun. I talked to him, called him Spike, and he did seem to respond, but he still ran away. He looks like a housecat with the swinging belly of a fixed cat, not a community cat.
