If you are unable to house the pet for a short while until the Owner is located, call one of these Animal Protection Services:

Say the cross streets where the animal was lost or found. If someone contacts PawsPatrolLV, PawsPatrolLV then will be able to get in touch with you. Leave a message. They are volunteers. They do not have the man-power to search for every lost/found animal, however, they are excellent at what they do, are very helpful in Search/Rescue and want to assist the community.
Post on Pawboost.com. FREE. Just close out when you come to the “Pay page.” Your “FOUND” post will still go up.
Pawboost offers that you can print Flyers to post around your area. Keep checking your posts to see that they have not been removed. You also can handprint some ”FOUND” flyers around your area.

The Animal Foundation is the central clearing house for lost and found pets.
The Animal Foundation is the facility to which the Owner first will be directed to search for their pet. The Pet Owner has 72 hours to collect their pet at The Animal Foundation before the pet will be placed for adoption.
You can take the pet to any veterinarian of Petsmart to be scanned (free) for a microchip and PawsPatrolLV will come to you to scan the cat at no cost to you.

You can call the animal control if your dog is alive they take it to the Animal Foundation which is closed today and opens tomorrow at 11. If your dog did not make it alive, they will tell you where to pick up the body.
