Don't give up. We had the same thing happen and our hearts were broken, we thought our beloved little kitty was gone forever. Then one day a week later she ran right into our garage. We had her bedding, food and water waiting for her. We don't know where she had been but she is home now. The key is to keep trying, put up signs, knock on doors. Don't be shy.
