Bezel's Owner Says

Thank you!! This platform gave us hope knowing communities are here to support in hard times like such. Bezel came back on his own, all drenched and covered in sticky plant things. He was super hungry. He’s well and purring, and ready for a bath!

I looked for him this morning while walking my dog in the area. I'm happy to see he's home safe.

BEZEL is adorable. Now let’s find him. He will be very nervous and likely hiding not far from your home. When you’re out searching this evening take a flashlight with you. The light will shine off his eyes and makes it easier to locate him. Look under every veranda and bush and any tiny place he may be hiding. Ask your neighbours to search their garage and under their porch or perhaps they will allow you to. He may have also climbed up a tree, so look there as well. Take a bag of treats and shake them while calmly calling his name. Put up posters and contact shelters in your area every 3 days to see if he has been turned in. If you haven’t yet gotten him micro chipped, please do, so should this happen again he can be returned to you. GOOD LUCK ❤

Check the Mississauga Animal Services website- found pets section, in case he’s found and turned in to their shelter. Put up posters all over the neighbourhood. Go out and walk the area at night while calling for him and shaking a bag of treats. They can hear you better at night and usually aren’t too far from home. Good luck!
