This method is to reach all the neighbors who are not on social media. This works for dogs also, birds and ferret pet snakes and lizards, etc. you need to pass these out for many blocks around. (works for dogs too.. And a cat may be near your home the 1st day and that’s it) neighbors may see your pet around or feeding them & not know is missing, or a stray, unable to catch, is busy, thinks pet will return home on their own etc. or pet won’t let them get close enough to read tags , or collar falls off. Or They’re letting in their homes, not posting on the right websites platforms, and pages , or shut in their garages or sheds, under decks & parked cars etc. . This worked for an owner to get her cat back. She made smaller flyers, asking to check their property garages, behind storage boxes, etc. phone # picture , address street Missing from. Do place them in Ziploc sandwich bags with a rock or fish tank rock, anything to weigh it down and protect from the weather. Take to all the neighbors doorsteps for many blocks all around. get family friends to help. Speak with the neighbors if possible too. Hand out to kids parents or kids, they always notice Loose pets ,walking home from school too.

The Ring doorbell app community works like Next-door app. Please post on the NEXTDOOR app too in lost and found pets group. Ring , It’s called Neighbors . It’s free and you do not need to own the doorbell to post on it. Post your pet is lost/found on there and maybe someone’s already seen your pet or found your pet and has posted on there. It’s really popular for lost and found and loose pets. when you make your post, make sure your “contact author” is turned on before posting and list your street /cross street because it’s very anonymous. It will not show names or location of you or other neighbors. And a couple people from the same family may be responding to your post ..and check your comments throughout the day

Have you posted on Next door apps Lost Pets Group (or else posts get buried in the main feed ) and Facebook’s other lost and found pets pages for Colorado Springs and El Paso County? And Petco lost Love as a facial recognition database website. It’s good to have your pet reported there and scroll for any matches every day. Humane Society has the link for Found cats held in people’s homes or the community.
