Thank you so much for saving those two dogs. I hope you can continue to keep them safe until the owner see this and if they don’t, hopefully you can keep them. Take them to be checked for a microchip and please keep them contained and safe.

They are probably together, or one of them found the other and will be with the other one!! Thank you for taking them off the road!! Put up posters w/ph.no./email 1 to 10 mile radius, ask anyone if they know the owner, put the posts near the roadway and businesses so people will see them, ask neighbors if they know the owner!! Email All VETS a poster w/ph.no./email, ask them if they know the owner, are they microchipped and registered?? Put a sign in your yard or on the street corner, FOUND LOST DOGS, get Proof of Ownership, some people will claim them to sell!! Check Pawboost, Pawboost Community, Next Door, X, & 24petconnect periodically, you can also put them online with Next Door, X, & 24petconnect because some people don't come online with FB!! There are some LOST AND FOUNDS WINSTON-SALEM, NC online here and some with just their name!! Check several pounds to see if anyone has called or come in about the dogs!! If you decide not to keep the dogs, PLEASE give them to someone you know well, a NO- SHELTER, SPCA (not ASPCA) or other organizations (except PETA), HUMANE SOCIETY, PLEASE do not give them to the pound, pounds have moved up their days of euthanasia!!!!

Thank you for helping. Below are some tips: ✅ Please check for a microchip. It's free to check with any vet, the emergency vet is open 24/7. Also free with PetSmart and animal control when they are open. Be sure he is securely leashed so he doesn't get away at chip check location. ✅ The Nextdoor app is a helpful resource as well for lost/found pets. ✅ Check with neighbors at pickup location. May belong to someone who is not online. ✅ Please keep special identifying details to a minimum (special markings, collar colors/details so anyone who wants to claim will have to identify by those. 🚨Also require proof of ownership from anyone trying to claim (vet papers, old photos etc). ✅ Report to animal control and the shelter in case the owner calls or goes there looking for their pet. ✅ Please give the required 72 hours for the owners to try and find before rehoming. 🚨Check vet references and charge a rehoming fee to anyone looking to adopt so the pet doesn't end up in a bad place. Hope the rightful owner is found soon 🙏
