Humane trap and camera are key, plus leaving a door slightly ajar at night for reentry

Start walking outside day and night, especially at dusk as a he’s probably hiding somewhere near, so check all the hiding spots around your house outside (under deck, sheds, bushes, etc.), and your neighbors yard too and let them know. Call her name out but very calmly and softly & bring a noise that she’s familiar with like shake a bag of hard food & keep calling his name and keep going outside. She’s out there close by hiding as he must be scared. Indoor cats Don’t roam very far.. wherever he left from, leave the door a little bit open and put some familiar scents outside for him like her bedding, your socks, and her most smelly soft foods… keep going outside day & nite & call her name calmly. She’s out there close by so Do Not give up & much good luck🙏

Do this ASAP Put out items with your scent on it, like an item of dirty clothing, towel, blankets. Put vacuum dust outside the door. Leave out a bowl of water. (if INDOOR Only cat Will be hiding in silence and fear either in your yard or neighbors check under bushes, desks and sheds) DO NOT put litter box out it will attract feral cats and predators. Go out at dawn and dusk and shake treats bag. Call as may times as possible, but night time is best Because its quite. Ask neighbors if you can check garages, sheds and under decks and their security camera recordings in the mid morning hours since cats are more likely to come out when it's quiet during the night. Put up 11x17 poster in neighborhood. Use a flashlight at night because you will see a reflection of their eyes, look up trees and post on your local town community page and next-door Neighborhood app.
