This un-neutered male kitty (looks less than 6 months) has been hanging out in our yard and on our back porch (near the United Center) for the last few weeks, trying to come inside, drinking out of puddles, and hanging out with an older cat. The kitty is very friendly and very hungry- we have been feeding it. I put a paper collar on him to see if anyone would call but no luck so far. I'm taking him in to check for a microchip tomorrow. It's getting cold out and I don't think this kitty has any other form of shelter, as it' been sleeping under cars and in the stairwell. We are going to foster it until we find the owner, although if we're not careful we might even adopt it.
