Please note that the photo in this post is not the exact cat I have been seeing. A tuxedo cat has recently started showing up near my patio, and I have been leaving food out for it. The cat is definitely eating the food, but it is very skittish and won’t let me get close enough to catch it. I’m not sure if it is lost, abandoned, or belongs to someone nearby, but it has been returning to the area regularly. If anyone recognizes a tuxedo cat matching this description or knows of a missing cat in the area, please let me know. I’ll take a photo when I see it again and post.

Update- I was able to capture the kitty and have given it to a very reputable pet rescue organization where it is receiving medical care and more. It is now in the hands of the professionals that will give it the love and care that this kitty truly deserves. It’s been a roller coaster of emotions, but I’m happy that the Cat is now off the streets and no longer hiding under cars :)

Jess Jenkins no. I was able to capture the kitty and gave him/her to a reputable pet rescue for medical care, which was needed, and finding the cat a nice home. It is now off the streets and in the best hands of professionals to give it the care it needs and deserves. :)
