UPDATE: Here is a summary of all the wonderful volunteer activity helping me find Miss Lucy, my missing Dachshund. My cell 407.437.1818. Call with important sightings, don’t post... posts get lost in the volumes of posts. Disclaimer: I understand it’s a holiday season and many have plans with family/friends I am not suggesting to interrupt that but if you are able, I welcome your help. There is a place in heaven for each of you that has helped so far. ——————————————————— Our blessed volunteers have helped with: Walking Yamato Scrub preserve: South area of Clint Moore is less explored if you can help Putting up Posters in 4 mile radius Costco Driving through neighborhoods searching behind garbage dumpsters Sharing my online posters via social media sites NEXT STEPS: Whoever is willing/volunteers Walk preserves areas with a hot rotisserie chicken from Publix and see if the smell brings her out; great recommendation on frying bacon on a Bunsen burner Drone to canvas the open areas and canals tomorrow and Christmas Day, and the culverts next to the train tracks Canals and underpass pipes-safety hiding zones Neighborhoods: If someone took her they have to bring her out for walks at some point although her collar may be removed and they may have cut her fur short if their intent was to keep her. Spread by word of mouth, ask community association newsletters to post this flyer, and email residents Ask your security guards to check security cameras since last Saturday (may have to tell them it’s your dog) Help distribute the attached flyer to any pet food store and grocery store within a 4 mile radius of Costco ..taping to the windows if the owners allow. Explaining perhaps somebody has taken the dog “as their own” I contacted the local TV station and radio stations to place ads. If anyone knows someone who works for these entities please call me. Potential billboard ads on the Congress exit as you’re heading south on 95/right hand side ..but can’t start till next week 300 more posters being printed tomorrow for distribution Parents: share this attached poster with all local schools for distribution or placement on their website Flyer distribution to all business entities off Congress and Clint Moore/strip malls Flyer distribution to homeless people you come across or construction crews
