Be sure to put on Nextdoor App and Neighborsring App as well as South Sacramento Lost and found pets Facebook Group.. And all post put FOUND with date, time, year, did area with nearest cross streets, And number to call.. Please have a vet do the first scan for Microchip.Iif it's not detected be sure to have the shelter do a second one.There so tiny many times get missed on one scanner and detected on the next.I's even happened to several people I know and me... Microchip or not make sure you get proof of ownership for its safety if anybody tries to come forward.When found in City of Sacramento NOT Sac County be sure to file found report with Front street shelter. Be sure to inform them if you're willing to hold.They will pay for vaccines, microchip,and neutering...

Require proof of ownership. File online found reports with shelters. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. Take by vet to scan for chip.
