Bhodie is my service animal, he is trained to ask and is extremely important for my wellbeing. He was surrendered to York SPCA without my knowledge or consent by a trusted one, out of spite. We have joint microchip registrations which is why he may have been able to be surrendered with just one owner present. He was not abandoned, I am offering a reward for his safe return. He is not lost, someone has him.

First I feel horrible for all parties involved but why would you not check with agencies first and everyday? Maybe they did? But this should not happen .

I'm so sorry this happened to you and Bhodie, shame on that trusted person!!! He is not just your service animal, he's your best friend and you are his. Some people don't understand the extreme level of single person bonding that develops with his breed! He is definitely confused and grieving your absence in his new surroundings! I'm praying that this post reaches the person who adopted him, and that he's returned to you immediately. To that person: you did a wonderful thing by choosing to give this boy a home. You had no way of knowing that he already had a loving owner and home! It's not your fault that the adoption agency didn't complete their due diligence 😡 by holding the dog until BOTH registered owners were contacted! Please understand that Bhodie will never fully bond with you, and will never be content, until he returns to this owner to whom he has already given his heart and pledged his loyalty. He has an important job to do! I promise that there's another dog desperately waiting for you to find him, and your bond will bring you more joy than you can imagine. I know from many such experiences of my own. Please, bring him to his home and the owner that he's grieving for right now! I'm sharing this, please pass it on.🤗🙏🏼💞🐾

Chrissy Prft thank you, I will look into that and my possible rights for this type of situation. I’m not so sure a lawyer can help since nothing was really stolen. But I will try. Thank you so much
