Pamela Henshaw yeah that's where I park we live in my van I thought I was going nuts hearing her constantly but distant and not distinctly loud enough to be sure

AJ Greenbean It was very LOUD consistent cries. I couldn't tell exactly where is was coming from, but definitely the river side of Chartres. There is a closed gate area by the recording studio that it could have been coming from or that empty field in the middle of the 500 block of Marigny. I walk my dogs several times a day so Ill keep an eye out. My dogs are super friendly so if they saw your cat they wouldn't chase.

Pamela Henshaw Thank you so much. was it like consistent crying or like just like one cry or what..m? I have looked around in the area and honestly I have heard quite a few cries but I thought honestly I was totally just kind of having a mental break LOL felt like I was going crazy no for real though like I can't seem to track it down there and marigny and Decatur seem to be where I hear it from though no one else seemed to notice

Last night I was walking my dogs and heard a cat crying loudly near the corner of Marigny and Chartres. I tried to look for it, but it was dark and I couldn't see anything.

You need to put kitties, favorite toy, bedding, and her litter box, even if has been cleaned out, preferably in a fenced yard. I would also place a used pillowcase of the owner,along with a pair of the owners old shoes. She is afraid, but she will smell her way home!
