FOUND DOG IN RANDOLPH COUNTY o all, while I was traveling from Muncie back to Columbus, I stumbled across this German Shepherd laying in the middle of the road in the country side with no tags. It was cold, wet, muddy and timid, but ultimately very friendly and well behaved. After taking it to the a shelter, it was found to have no chip so identifying the owners has not been possible as of yet. It seemed like it had not ate or drank anything for quite a bit. But it has since had a few meals and plenty of water. It had no fleas but we put on a seresto collar since we did find a few dog ticks that have since been removed. We will not be specifying the gender or further details as to avoid a false claim. We are hoping the actual owners come forward with enough information to help us confirm it will be going back to their rightful . We will also be contacting local animal control and shelters near the Crete/Ohio border area to see if it’s already been reported.
