Madison Lutsy Oklahoma? Be careful. 20٪ of cats come home on own. I read that sometimes cats wander a little too far and get a little lost. The makerel is awesome because they smell it from far away. He will smell your unwashed clothes. One lady's cat returned after 5 months when she put out unwashed clothes. Stay positive

I’ll have to try that, it’s all I can do. I got a text from some number in Oklahoma saying they found him, then blocked me when I asked for photo proof. I didn’t believe it anyways.

Madison Lutsy oh my gosh you sound like you live here. We have coyotes in the back field of our house and we have bears every few months. One spotted yesterday. I am disabled and he's my emotional support. Everyone kept saying that coyotes got him. I would hear them and was so scared. He's declawed and never was outside. But all the comments made me more determined. That's why we put stations near a shed or porch so he has a safe place to hide. We got the trail cameras pointed at the stations so I could know that he was eating. Don't listen to negative comments and know that he will return. Leave your door cracked,. Smokey never went outside but he went to the bathroom outside. They get in a feral fearful survival mode and won't come out until they break out. The stations and your unwashed clothes will help. Do this for a week. It took us 12 days. Don't lose hope. I am praying hard for you
