Description

(Front of the picture Hen) She is a bigger hen, with noticeable black feathers along her back, chest and legs. Her waddle is medium sized. She has more yellow legs than my other hens and tends to be really calm in her demeanor. She allows for people to pick her up and doesn't peck.

Message from Owner

I've raised these hens with my mother since they have been baby chicks and they are my family, I held them in my hands and they climbed on me as chick and as hens. I kiss and hug them and talk to them, feed them, we bring them inside. I love them dearly and I just want to see her safely, I have reward money or even eggs to spare. I miss my baby a lot and her other hen sisters are also missing her. I haven't stopped thinking about how she is or if she's hurt it makes me sad. Please bring her back to me I love my chickens and just want to see them happily running around and eating and bathing in the dirt again. Thank you.

Coral Holguin 🙏🏻 I hope so too. I am missing my pet rat so I’ll keep a lookout in shelter’s “other” animal listings that I go through. They only give 5 days to redeem before adopting them out. It is possible someone thought our pets were abandoned and kept them thinking they were rescuing them. Unfortunately some people do just dump their pets and people that take them in sometimes don’t notify shelters because of stories of shelters just immediately euthanizing the pet. I empathize that searching for a non- cat or dog pet is especially difficult and idk about you, but some people have been so mean.

Delilah Bookout hey so I'm sorry but everyone acts like I'm slow. If you read the thing I wrote out I said it happened in the afternoon. So it would not be a fox or a racoon or even a cat we have a cat that hangs around our chickens and birds. It was person idk why you people assume it was predator I wouldn't post it if it was.
