Sunny still hasn't returned and it's been over a month. Sunny is orange and white male neutered cat. Super sweet. Sometimes shy. Neighborhood friendly cat. We miss him so much. He's been gone for 1 week now. He is microchipped but the info isn't updated. I figured out that the ph# is good Sunny is posted on Facebook lost and found pets in Salem and also on the nextdoor app. Still no postings on if there's been a sighting.

If you call your vet where you got the microchip, they can tell you how to update it. I also didn't know until someone told me. I'm not sure if it updates immediately or not, but it's worth a try. I will keep an eye out for your sweet furbaby.
