Indoor cats usually don’t venture far from home. They’re frightened and will go into defensive mode. *** Very important *** The cat may have taken refuge in a neighbor’s structure/garage/shed looking for safety and warmth and can’t get out. It happens often. Go door to door and ask if anyone has seen her and ask them to check their garage, etc. *** even if they haven’t seen the cat.
Put flyers on mailboxes/doors. If you have a sighting, set a trap with worn piece of your clothing on top where she was spotted... check cameras if you have them .. she might return at night when it’s quiet and you’d know she was trying to return … 🐾. They often will try to return to the spot they escaped from …..
