These two are very sweet and need to find their . We were able to catch the female one night and the male was wandering around howling all night. It was heartbreaking but we have them both contained now.

We found these two small dogs wandering around our area in Richland right off of G Way for several days. They were repeatedly crossing a busy street near our home, and we couldn’t in good conscience leave them outside… Unfortunately they are not chipped so we don’t know if they have owners or if they were dumped in the area. If anyone knows if they have owners or is able to adopt or foster these babies please comment or send me a message. Some details: The dark one is a female and the lighter one is a male. We think they are fairly young (but probably not puppies) since their teeth look pretty white. The smaller female is about 10 pounds and the male is probably about 15 pounds. I would like to keep the two together, they are extremely bonded. We were able to catch the female first, and then her brother was wandering around that night howling around looking for her, it was heartbreaking. We were able to grab him the next morning and they were very happy to reunite. They just seem more comfortable when they are around each other. They are both super sweet and let us pet them and pick them up with no problems. But you can definitely tell they are nervous when we take them outside so they do seem a little scared from being outside for days. They seem nervous around other dogs right now (likely stressed), but they are very sweet with people. We have no idea about their breed, age, or health status. As far as why we can’t keep them, we have very limited space and already have two cats who have never been around dogs. We are keeping them separated, but it’s not a long-term solution. We will send them with the harnesses, leashes, food, and treats that we got for them. No rehoming fee necessary, we just want them safe and together. I just wouldn’t feel good giving them to a shelter knowing that they probably wouldn’t stay together. If you can foster or adopt this bonded pair, please message me ASAP. Please share to help these sweet babies find a safe home. ❤️
