Kristi Snyder are you located near Phelan. Many of the dogs brought in roaming the streets last 5 months are being picked up that area. Purebred . Appears many back yard breeders. Nothing wrong with that if yo follow the oaths in care and breeding. But now dumping lots of dogs. Gerri Monohan is on of the Board members at Golden Retriever Club of America, they have one of they have one of the oldest rescue groups in all Southern California.

What does blind retrievers mean. Did you post on pawboost. Where lost pets get posted. Helps meet the state law on found pets and how long they have to be publicly posted before anyone can adopt. It says volumes no collars. Have you taken to fire station to see if chipped.

I will happily foster the dogs until owner found or Golden Retiever Rescue te original rescue group will take and i have fostered for them over twenty five years. Many pure bred dogs come out of than area. Shelter received 30 a little over a month ago. Two goldens and other beautiful dogs.

To the owner(s) of these two amazing boys, please know that they are safe and in excellent care. They are the sweetest, very loving, funny boys. No matter what this situation is for them, they continue to wag their tails and give slobbery kisses. They are definitely bed hogs. I pass no judgement as to why you let them go, if you did, you had to have had a good reason. we will post updates on these two boys as time goes on. Thank you!

I want to thank every one for getting the word out about these two boys. At some point someone took care of them. They are both neutered and not chipped. When combing out their hair and removing the mats we noticed they had collars at some point. So please keep spreading the word. The pups are safe for now. And please keep any negative remarks out of this thread and try being supportive. Thank you.

Thank you, Cindi. We thought we found the owners but we did not. The pups have no chips but when brushing them out and removing the mats, they had collars at some point. You can see the indentation on the fur around their necks. They are both male and have been neutered. Someone took care of them until they couldn’t anymore. Our neighbor who boards and trains dogs has agreed to house them for a bit. They live directly across from us so I can see the pups whenever.

Chill lady :/ just putting it out there rather see a rescue help then any dog go to a pound . Some don’t have room or time to help so letting rescues know is better than not helping at all or attacking someone for trying to help . Have a good day and I hope owners are found Asap !!!
