Ollie went missing last night after he slipped out unnoticed into the backyard when we let our dog out. He is an indoor cat and has only ever been out in our backyard. He is a very sweet, playful cat who loves getting rubbed, but does not like to be picked up or held so he will most likely scratch or bite if you try.

Put out some worn clothing on your porch. Notify all your neighbors he is missing and ask them to check under their decks, house and in their garage and any outbuildings they might have. Put up flyers with his picture and your phone number around your neighborhood. Flyers work. Lots of people have found their cats because neighbors saw their flyers. You might also want to go out and look after dark with a flashlight. They typically don’t stray too far from home.
