Cats are usually found within a four or five house radius. They may be hunkered down, hiding or trapped somewhere. Ask your neighbors. Go outside at dusk or dawn with a flashlight and look for your cats, eyes reflection. Shake a container of treats to get his attention. Cats may not vocalize so you must search carefully.

Make an online report with laot.petcolove.org which posts to the PACC website using facial recognition. Make an online report with the Humane Society. Check on the PACC website under cats that have been found. Go to PACC in person every day to check.

Put up flyers in a very large area around where he was last seen. Make a scent trail by putting his bed and some of your old clothes and shoes outside.

Please watch out for scammers! There are alot of them that target lost and found pages, they are clever and even use AI images to pretend that they have your cat. Never pay anyone upfront who says they have your cat or can find him or pressure you to buy a device or Drone service! And never agree to meet anyone alone!

Getting a humane trap is very important part of finding a lost cat. The cats are typically close by but hiding and scared to come around. Set up a trap baited with smelly food outside the exit where he escaped. You can borrow a humane trap from a shelter like Hermitage or Pacc and they will show you how to use it. Keep searching tho on foot under between behind and inside all areas around your property and your neighbors with a flashlight to reflect eyes and a treat bag to shake. Don't give up, be positive and proactive!
