I am so sorry I don’t know if it’s him nor not but I saw a deceased cat on the side of the road fitting his description on Cass Street in Joliet about a mile and a half from the intersection of Cass and Washington St headed east. Hopefully it isn’t him

A worn piece of clothing often works well on your porch as well as inside a garage. As I mentioned previously. Cats tend to stay close to home before they wander and especially a kitten. It would be good to focus on a block or two radius of your home and most likely the kitten might stay even in a block radius of your home. It would be good to especially check this area at Dawn dusk in feeding time, shaking a bag of cat treats or cat food vigorously to help attract your kittens. Attention if it's nearby and bring a flashlight with you to help catch a glimpse of its eyes if it's nearby. When you're walking this block radius, make sure you're checking trees shrubbery window wells and especially under decks and porches where cats often hide and ask your neighbors to check their shut and garage where cats often also hide. It would be good to post on neighbors ring app which covers a 3 mile radius of your location and alerts people that have the app. I hope your kitten is safe and never gets out again and that you take precautions so it cannot get out ever again.....

Flyers are very important. They are best put in a zip gallon bag that is upside down to protect from the elements. It was just recently that both the dog and a cat were reunited by flyers alone since the people that found the animals did not have social media. If you adopted from a rescue, they usually like to know ASAP that a former animal is missing. If your cat has a microchip, it's good to make sure your contact information is up to date so you can be contacted if your cat is found. Cats tend to stay close to home before they wander so time is of the essence. Make sure your cat is not hiding in the garage in a closet in a dresser, drawer or behind furniture which often happens. I've heard of a few cats returning home the past few years when the owner left their garage open about 5 inches with a worn piece of clothing on the inside of the garage near the opening to help attract the cat if it comes close back to home but not too wide. So you do not attract unwanted animals. It's good if you go check outside on your block around Dawn and dusk with a flashlight looking in shrubbery and under decks and porches to hopefully catch a glimpse of your cat's eyes if it is close by. Usually cats are scared when they first leave home and might not even respond to you. So the flashlight might come in handy to catch a glimpse of the eyes. It's also good to check your local animal control in person daily because things change very often and best in person. It's also good to check local rescues and shelters in your area daily. Hoping for a quick and safe return.....

Make sure your kitten is really loose. A kitten should be watched very well and should never get out. Please make sure your kitten is not hiding behind or under furniture or in a dresser drawer or a closet or a cabinet, etc. Recently five different people thought their cat was missing and they were all later found in the house, including a cat that was in a cabinet. Found 3 days later that was hardly used. I hope your kitten is safe.

He’s tiny. Check bushes and window wells if nearby houses have them.
