Cats are very territorial and will stay close to home the entire time missing. Usually will stay within a radius of 2 houses away. Call to her consistently, she hears you. It’s how my cat came home after a week. Hearing my voice I believed lured him back.
Raven is going to try to come home. Crack open your garage door enough for her to get thru. Place her bedding inside the door with your slept on pillowcase in the bedding. Place some of your unlaundered clothing from the road, up your driveway to the open door. Put some water and just a smidgen of food deep inside the garage. Please, no food or litter box outside as it will attract other cats and predators deterring he efforts to return and also places her in grave danger. Don’t give up!! It’s the biggest mistake people make. Someone whose cat was missing for a MONTH took this advice. While setting up the garage her cat walked inside. Friends, neighbors, folks in lost/found sites have had much success doing this.
Reach out to your neighbors. They are key in helping you find Raven. Distribute flyers with your contact info and an image of Raven. Ask them to consistently check their properties and structures. Many cats are found under decks and in garages.
If adopted from a rescue contact them asap for help. They will help you find her. Given she is microchipped, contact the company and talk to a human. Make sure she is registered correctly. You have no idea how many pet owners thought they were registered correctly when they were not.
Make sure to report her missing to the Humane Society in case she is taken there. Go there in keys on every few days to check if she is there. Cats can get lost in the system. Sadly, there are many black cats there. Also, go daily to their website and check the images listed if lost pets who are there. Again, don’t give up. Someone shared on here recently she was reunited with her cat after 2 years. It was the microchip that finally reunited them!!
Shared with prayers for a quick safe return. The odds are with you. ❤️🐾🙏
