Gabrielle Vitale It was only three days. I know there is a time limit on how long the dog can pick up the scent, but I don’t know what that is. I suppose it depends on if your cat is hanging out in the area. This was about 12 years ago, so I don’t remember the name. I honestly just broke open the phone book that goes to show you how long ago it was, and started calling search and rescue organizations until found someone who agreed to come out and try. The dog found him within one hour.
