I was able to find out he is not chipped and he has no tags. He looks like he’s being cared for so I’m reluctant to take him to IHS as I believe he lives locally.

Thank you for caring for this sweet kitty❤. If you could trap him (I believe the Idaho Humane Society has traps), most vets and the Idaho Humane Society will check for a chip for free. Also, you could make big, in-your-face fliers and post them around the neighborhood. Check with neighbors to see if they might know who the owner is. Post on your local Nextdoor.com. if no one claims him, please consider taking him to Simply Cats (a wonderful no- shelter) or the Idaho Humane Society. Thank you!!
