Message from Owner

My lola went missing June 13 at 8:01 am my son left the front door open and she walked out. Friday night I was at the vet with her getting her eye treated so she wasn’t feeling well. She is an indoor only cat but we rescued her as a stray kitten born right in my back yard. So she was familiar with the stray cats that run in our neighborhood matter of fact her mother is still in my back yard. Several people feed the strays in our neighborhood so I assumed she would run with them and we would see her by now but there has been no sightings of her so I’m thinking someone took her in thinking they are helping but please if you did drop her off at a shelter or contact me. We miss her so much I am sick behind this can’t eat can’t sleep been out everyday and night looking for her.

If Your Kitty is normally an INSIDE cat... then he/she is definitely scared and hiding and you will need to go out at NIGHT with a flashlight and look for her/his “glowing” eyes. She/he is VERY CLOSE to your home most likely in YOUR OWN “yard”. Indoor cats usually find a hiding spot very quickly and very close to where they escaped. Look up in the trees and check under everything in YOUR “YARD” first… under decks, bushes, wood piles and sheds. Then check your neighbors “yards”. They are very good at hiding. THE BEST TIME TO FIND Him/her IS AT NIGHT WITH A FLASHLIGHT AND HER/HIS EYES WILL “GLOW” BACK AT YOU. He/she is so scared, she/he will NOT respond to you calling, so you'll have to use your eyes instead of your ears to find her/him. When normally inside cats are suddenly outside, they go into "survival mode" and their entire personality changes. They will NOT wander. They find a hiding spot very close by and are very scared and will not come out for anyone... even their owners. I hope you find your fur-baby very soon!
