Yvonne J Caffey This is a public page animals in public are our problem. If that was the case they dont want to perform a visible search effort then they should be receiving animals purely by coincidence and not via informed sightings! It should be a courtesy if such entities want public faith and information. Its a two way street.

Melissa Benavides no one is obligated to perform a search effort. The owner should be obligated to have a tag on its pets and have the pet microchipped. The finder is not obligated to house, feed and water the pet or take the pet to a shelter. We can only hope that the finder holds on to the pet and care for it, instead of releasing the pet back to the street. But know there are options to drop off the little ones at Peewee's Pet Adoption - A Small Dog Breed Rescue .
