You might want to post him as missing on the Nextdoor website for your area and on the Lost My Kitty website. This site can help contact local vets and rescue agencies for you. Also report him as missing at your local Humane Society and go there often in person to look for him. Don't assume they will call if someone brings him in. Also go door to door to neighbors and let them know he's missing. Ask if they've recently had a shed or garage open that he might have run into and is now stuck in. They can help keep an eye out for him too. The best times to go out and look for them is in the very early mornings and very late evenings when it's quiet and he might come out when you call for him (let neighbors know so they'll be aware you're searching the area at a quiet time). Don't go out in a group or with children. Just one or two people gently calling for him. If it's dark, take a flashlight and look for eyeshine in small spaces like under decks, bushes, cars and also up in trees near the trunk in case he got chased up a tree. Some can be very quiet in trees. Best wishes on finding your sweet cat. ❤️
