This cat has been roaming the neighborhood for sometime; neighbors have seen him on their security cameras. I have set up a heated outdoor cat hse on my deck, and provide fresh food and water daily; some days I do not see this cat. I see he has a torn ear, otherwise he seems healthy, and very laid back. I plan to trap him and take him to get neutered (as I have been able to get close enough to see he’s an intact male), along with first round of shots. I cannot keep him as I already have many cats I’m fostering and rescued. He’s up for adoption, but will be cautious adopting out a black cat. Please let me know if this is your cat or you’d like to adopt this sweet fellow. Thanks. Jody Hughes

Not sure the ear is torn. In my X country they always just made a tiny slit in the ear when spayed and neutered.

Thanks for caring about this wonderful and beautiful 😻 kitty cat! Please 🙏 post on Nextdoor and ring apps. It will send your posts to your neighbors in 2-3 miles radius. Much better chance of getting a response. These are two free apps. They use your location to make a localized community. All the people near your location receive the posts, no one else. Nextdoor is kinda like neighborhood facebook. Ring app is for the ring doorbell cameras but you don’t need a camera to make an account. Almost all my neighbors are on it. They use the neighbors tab on ring app to post everyday porch pirate thefts, coyote sightings, cat sightings or lost cats information.

Thank you for getting him neutered, as he's probably not. Unneutered males are usually beefy and fight other Tom cats (hence the scars) because of testosterone.
