I'm on Beaver Creek Rd off the hwy between Samuels & Elmira. Yesterday morning an orange cat ran past my place, down the gravel road. Caught my eye because his tail was sticking straight up. Only a handful of homes here and I have never seen this cat before. I couldn't see his belly or paws. He seemed scared

Some tips: Go out late at night when it's quiet and call him. Shake a can of treats or bring stinky food. Also bring a flashlight and look for kitty eyes in bushes. He is probably hiding close by. Put up big, in-your-face fliers with a picture and consider making mini-fliers to place on neighbors' porches. Have neighbors check their garages and sheds. Check the website of your local animal shelter daily! See if you can leave fliers with vet offices. Post on Nextdoor.com. Praying he returns home soon 🙏
