The amazing walk around method : 3 AM to 5 AM Cat witching hours · Schedule your search for a missing cat between 3am to 5am, try a good neighbourhood block to look for your wayward cats, when the streets are quietest, increasing your chances of hearing a lost or trapped cat. · Arm yourself with a strong bright torch and bring along enticing treats like hot roast chicken or the cat's favorite food to lure them from hiding. · Carry a secure cat carrier for safe transportation once the cat is found. · Drag worn clothing with your scent along your route to help guide the cat home using its strong sense of smell. · Be persistent: repeat the search as needed, as cats can be skittish and may not come out of hiding right away. · If searching for someone else's cat, playing a recording of the owner's voice can help attract the cat . Also, if you can download a recording of a mother cat calling her kitten and then playing it, can be helpful when doing your night walks . . Make sure to check any CCTV or dash cam footage in your area in case your cat was picked up
