Description

Tabby cat with what looks like a tumor on her neck. She has what may have been a red collar on with a bell. she looks like she may have been lost for a while. She’s very thin and she’s not one of our normal alleyway cats. She also has what a appears to be red spots inside of her eyes.

Unfortunately, I can’t bring her in due to having four cats of my own and two dogs. I will keep an eye on her make sure she’s feed. I will try to put a shelter outside because she is very obviously not a stray. She’s very friendly.

Can you trap & get scanned for a chip?

Julia Robinson CA they can scan her there. If she’s not chipped you could ask about surrendering as a stray just to keep her safe. If an owner looks for her you can always refer them to the shelter if they keep her

If friendly and you have a secure carrier, can you take her to any vet to be scanned for a chip? It’s a free service and you don’t need an appointment

Julia Robinson CA you can have her checked for a chip to see if she’s registered to anyone. I know if you say you found a stray they will ask for a donation even if it’s $25. It’s not safe for a healthy cat so sick cats are more at risk. Is this the first time you’ve seen her?

Melissa Kacin her collar is actually pretty loose. She seems like she’s been out there for a while she’s so thin. Idk if humane society will take her because she’s a cat they usually tell me they just spay/neuter and release them. But she’s someone’s baby she’s so sweet.

Is the collar loose enough? Maybe the tumor is possibly an abscess? If she’s friendly maybe you can get her to a shelter
