My family and I have been taking care of this stray cat for years, she is not actually ours but we do take care of her. Around April 17th, I think a couple days after, our Amazon driver talked to my dad and said her wife is a vet and would like to look at our cat, she had been sick for a while so my dad said yes. Weeks later we got no news of her, my dad contacted the driver but got no response back until recently. All we were told is that our cat is now up for adoption in Henderson, Nevada. We are thinking of adopting her back, but have not been told where she is up for adoption, please help us find her.

Kim Petricka I checked the Henderson shelter website for this kitty, I did not see it, based on the date kitty may have been adopted in May sadly

If you want to adopt this cat back are you going to keep it indoor only or are you just going to continue to keep it outside? If you plan on just keeping it outside then it’s better off being adopted out to a family that will keep it indoors only. How are you sure that this Amazon driver was telling the truth about they’re supposed Wife being a veterinarian?  All local rescues in Henderson and Las Vegas post photos of their adoptable cats on their websites.

Also go to The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas - Go daily, in person, to The Animal Foundation: 655 N Mojave Road, Las Vegas, Animal Foundation hours are 11AM-7PM Tuesday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. Call (702) 760-7387 for help! Or: (702) 955-5932 ext. 932 Email: lostandfound@animalfoundation.com - They are understaffed and overburdened. It is best that you go in person to look for your pet.

Go to the Henderson Animal Shelter and look for the cat. Ask to see in the cages.

If it wasn't yours you should have not authorized the driver to take the cat because a lot of people have bad intentions! That's said I hope I'm 100% wrong and the kitty was cared for. Check the animal shelter in Henderson or contact Amazon and tell them what happened to see if they can track that driver! There's a lot you could have done by now. 🙏🏻

Kim Petricka it would be so hard to track due to the time frame. I’m going to look at the shelter website, but if truly if the wife was a vet they could have taken to any rescue as well.

Well, we don’t know if this driver actually have a good attention. Will you be very careful for who we trust? It’s a lot of bad people in the town.
