Can you get it scanned for a microchip? Any vet will do it for free, without an appointment. Even the emergency vets will do it. There may be a woman who reaches out to you through messages. She will say she's with VIP Rescue and offer to take the dog. She is on a do not adopt list AND banned by our county shelter (thats pretty hard to do!!) PLEASE DO NOT GIVE HER THE DOG!! It will never find its way home.
