While I completely agree with the possibility that it could be owned as an outdoor cat, what I do know is that when it started staying in our backyard it was covered in worms, maggots in a fresh wound, and multiple patches of fur missing. I got it completely healed, purchased an outdoor heated house, and sheltered it in our heated garage when it was raining, snowing, and below 40 degrees.
