Peggy Hodge he has a vet appointment the ninth. I am happy I found him too. My eyes are red and swollen shut from crying yesterday and now he's kenneled because I'm .moving today and I'm not trying to lose him against

Please look up in trees and under low growing shrubs and under decks on your property and ask your neighbors to check their property. Put some of your unwashed clothing ( t-shirt you've worn that still has your scent on it) outside near your door. Cats can smell their owners from miles away and this may help your confused or lost cat find its way home. NEVER put food outdoors unless you are outside near the food. Keep in mind food WILL attract wild animals that may harm you or harm your cat. NEVER put a cats litter box outside. This, too, will attract wild animals and cause your cat a great deal of distress. A litter box outside indicates to your cat that you are abandoning your cat. Go in person ASAP to all local shelters to search for your cat. The kind person answering the phone will not know about all the cats that have been dropped off or brought in by animal control. Call local veterinary offices to check if anyone has brought your cat in to be scanned for a microchip. Ask them to keep an eye out for your cat. Post photos of your cat at local grocery and pet supply stores. Please do not give up on searching for your cat. I'm sure it would much rather be safe inside of your warm home than lost outside.

Aleena Cecil I'm sooo happy you found him! Did you suspect he was deaf before? I would bring him to your vet, to have his ears thoroughly checked. He could have an ear infection... cats will act differently when they are sick... only way for their hoomans to know. Hiding is a common reaction they have when they don't understand what's going on. I hope he's OK ❤️🐈‍⬛

Update. My cat is stone deaf. What a way to find out. Idk where he was hiding I tore the whole house apart even crawled under the stupid bed. Popped cans. Screamed his name and cried my eyes out looking for him in the cold for three hours. Then he just strolls across the house like what's for dinner y'all. I ain't never kissed a cat so hard in my life. I cried. He complained. Glorious reunion.
