Don’t give up, my neighbors cat disappeared for 3 weeks, and ironically his owner was walking her dog after three weeks we all were out looking, she heard a cat meowing on a 700 south and 9th east looked down in a grated culvert on the opposite corner where he lived, somehow he got trapped in the drainage pipes under the roads. She called the fire department and they lifted the iron grate and she was able to get him out. He was barely half the cat he was, lost so much weight, was filthy muddy. But he survived 3 weeks to the day. I went to check out how he got in there all four corners and found a 12 inch open pipe on the north corner of 700 so. He got lost in the tunnels underneath. I called the city and they are coming tomorrow to check why no grate there. It’s a miracle. Cats are so resilient and too inquisitive ❤️
