Please help me find out what happened to my sweet girl Rigby.❤️ This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to make. A few months ago, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome my kitten because of my living situation and finances. It wasn’t because I didn’t love her, I loved her more than I can put into words. Some people have that one pet they’ll never forget, and she was that cat for me. She was my soul cat. I raised her from the time she was a tiny kitten. She grew up with my German Shepherd, who absolutely adored her, and they’d curl up together and sleep. She even became friends with my older cat, who normally hates other cats, which was something I never thought I’d see. When I rehomed her, I wanted to make sure she had everything she needed. I sent her with food, a litter box, a collar, and all of her belongings. She was up to date on her vaccines. The only thing I asked in return was that her new owner get her spayed, since I wasn’t in a position to afford it at the time. Recently, I’ve heard from people who still live in my old neighborhood that they’ve been seeing a cat matching her description wandering around outside. They told me she may have been dumped. I’ve reached out to the person I rehomed her to several times, but I haven’t received any response, and not knowing has been eating at me. I have even tried going over there myself. Setting up traps, putting food outside of my old patio, nothing has been working. I’m not making this post to accuse anyone or start drama. I truly just want to know what happened to her. If she’s in a loving home and doing well, that would honestly bring me so much peace. ❤️ I’d be grateful just to know she’s safe. If she has been abandoned or is living outside, please let me know. I will come get her immediately and make sure she gets to safety or into rescue if needed. If anyone has seen her or has any information at all, even if it seems small, please send me a private message. It would mean the world to me. Thank you for reading.
