Message from Owner

My boy was dumped by a family member some time ago in 2020, but I am still choosing to hold out hope that he’s out there somewhere! he was a rescue himself at a week old, he’s a neutered male, with a “Knick” in his left ear, he likes to drool when being loved on & has had a bum/goopy left eye since he was a kitten, hence the name “booger” he would be around 13 almost 14 years old now.

Put signs up and get Flyers to neighbors even three streets over. Check the rescues and use a Humane trap. God bless you and stay safe!

A few things you can try are: cats are active at night and early morning, walk around the outside of your house/building and whisper their name, do not shout it, the less yelling and excitement the better and then listen for a meow. Also, you can take a flashlight and shine it in bushes and trees to catch a reflection from their eyes. They usually don't stray very far from home. Put his food/water, catnip, and clothing you wore earlier in the day in front or in back of your house, they say cats can smell up to a mile. Do not leave the food out overnight as it may attract other animals that can scare the kitty away. Go to your neighbors and let them know your kitty got out and give them your contact info. Walk your neighborhood, shake the treat jar and talk to people as you walk and talk to your mail carrier. They see lots of animals and if they see a strange Kitty around they may recognize it as yours. Make sure you call local animal shelters, etc. Cats can disappear for days, weeks, months or longer and return so don't give up!

shared 🙏🙏 I think you should send a message "Sharon-rescue" on Facebook right away. They can help you find your pet ASAP. They are highly specialized in recovery of lost pets. They helped find my pup when he was stolen.
