Small bunny found; looks like an English Spot, not neutered (yet)

Our neighborhood is known for the Lionhead population, so I was surprised to see a new breed hopping around. This little guy is supper small (maybe 2-3 lbs) and very friendly and comfortable with humans. I’m hoping he is someone’s pet and not the newest addition to being dumped in out neighborhood. We are housing him until the owner is found. If not found, we will make sure he’s well loved and will start the bonding process with our current rescued bunny rescue

Courtney Turney that’s amazing you maybe keeping him! the white ones I saw was before the bridge they may have passed as it was 3yrs ago. Domestics have a hard time surviving long especially if they had homes before being released!

Julia Schmidt this is the only one I’ve seen here that is not a Lionhead. He is quite active. No one is claiming him and I’m guessing he was dumped. We are taking him to the vet Friday. Pretty sure he’s ours now.

Space Coast Bunnies they had the new whites ones when we were there too! People are just dumping there bunnies now there since it’s a known colony

Wilton Manors is a notorious colony. Several rescues worked on that case a couple years ago and they were 250 bunnies. This poor bun was probably born outside and needs a living home!
